Hallmark Builds in Central

Central, Indiana is one of the small towns in which Hallmark Homes specialize in building custom homes. Being a recipient of the 2010 Angie’s List Super Service Award, Hallmark Homes believes that the excellent service and quality homes they build for their customers is the main reason for their success. As a Central Indiana Builder of outstanding reputation, they ensure that every home they build for each client is something that they and their clients can definitely be proud of.

Central, Indiana originally contained fifteen plots of land totaling five acres and covering two parallel streets. Originally, it was plotted by William Smith in the late part of the 19th century, around 1890. The land on which the church in the center of the town stands is deeded by Charles Kopp in 1882 and in turn was deeded to the Missionary Society of the Churches of Christ in 1907. On the corner of Central and Heth-Washington stands the only business still operating in Central, Indiana, the Longbottom-Hardsaw which was built in 1947. Before being absorbed into the South Harrison Consolidated School District, Central had its own school from 1900 to 1945. Until 1999, the Central Post Office served the people of the town, and was then taken over by the Mauckport and Corydon Post Offices.

Being a Central Indiana Builder is a responsibility that Hallmark Homes takes seriously. For that matter, every small town in which Hallmark Homes builds custom houses can be assured of the excellent quality that the company is well known for. Building one’s dream home is among life’s important endeavors and Hallmark Homes understand this well. This is manifested by their keen attention to every detail that affects how the building of their customers’ homes comes about. As a Central Indiana Builder dedicated to the task of building quality custom homes, the Hallmark Homes team offers excellent service at a reasonable cost.
